Sick leave.

Been down sick for the last few days. Very little progress.

Played through and balanced the ‘dust’ level I mentioned last time. Started on the final basic level, tentatively titled ‘Shore’. It’s too rough to screenshot, right now.

Itemized the stuff I have left before I can consider the game done.

In no particular order:

    campaign levels
        add shore
        add ridiculous boss level
    tutorial levels
        drilling/powering only
        crewing/launching only
        defending only
    graphical tweaks
        new scoop sprite
        backgrounds for planet levels
        more non-nebula backgrounds
        new main menu?
    sounds
    music
    campaign screenshots
    bomb revamp
    misc. tiny tweaks/bugfixes

Probably months worth. Well, certainly months worth, especially at this rate. The question is more ‘how many’.

No idea what I’m doing about music, still. Had a funny idea about talking to a certain group of musicians who I know frequent tumblr, seeing if any of them were interested. No idea if they’d have time in their schedules, even if they were, but being a big fan of their music, it’s probably worth at least talking to them about it, on the off-chance that I could have their music in my game.

But months still until it’s critical. No hurry.
