Arguably less frivolous graphical stuff. Also, like the rest of the stuff I’ve been doing recently, something I’ve been planning for a while. The thing about developing slowly is that there’s plenty of time to plan ahead.
The idea is that you’ll be able to preview the level before starting it (NOT YET IN), possibly with a snazzy animated zoom into the preview to begin the level (NOT YET IN); then, at the end, the screen will zoom out (NOT YET IN) and return you to the campaign screen with a gallery of your triumphs. I’ve been using debug hax to test, so only the starting stations are pictured.
If I was prioritizing a little better, I’d probably be working on either playtesting Coast or, more importantly, starting on the (three!) tutorial missions I have planned. But this seems more fun, and it is rather pretty. So… there you go.
