So I’d been putting off learning Flixel’s new camera system for a while, since it seemed complicated, and I didn’t have anything that seemed particularly suited to using it.
Finally went through it tonight. The essential thing that it does is break flixel’s entire draw hierarchy.
Which is… great. Just fantastic.
Reverted to flixel 2.23; I’ll be using that for the rest of the project. So I can actually scale a god damned bitmap.
Argh.
